Air purifiers
The air we breathe daily indoors, whether at home or in the office, can be extremely harmful to our health. In fact, the quality of indoor air can be up to 8 times worse than outdoor air. Fortunately, at France Ventilation, we offer solutions to improve your daily life and make the indoor air healthier. Our air purifiers from Aertecnica and Unelvent are designed to sanitize and purify the air in your home, office, and any indoor space where you spend a significant amount of time.

Why use an air purifier?
An air purifier is the ideal solution for purifying indoor air and improving the air quality in enclosed spaces where we spend most of our time. The technology of an air purifier filters the indoor air, removing harmful particles that can affect our health.
The filtration system of an air purifier typically consists of multiple stages, which may vary depending on the model.
Firstly, the purifier draws in the ambient air, which then passes through a pre-filter. The pre-filter acts as an antimicrobial layer, capturing larger visible particles such as dust, hair, and pet dander. A second filter, the activated carbon filter, eliminates volatile organic compounds (VOCs) present in the air, including odors, smoke, and gases. Additionally, a HEPA filter is used to capture 99.97% of microscopic particles as small as 0.3 microns that are not visible to the naked eye.
Some air purifiers also offer additional features, such as the Unelvent Airpur 360, which includes a UV lamp to eliminate viruses, dust mites, and bacteria. The UV lamp activates photocatalysis to remove the remaining harmful particles from the air.
The purpose of an air purifier is to purify indoor air, providing greater comfort for the occupants by ensuring they breathe cleaner air. When combined with proper daily ventilation and an efficient ventilation system like a high-quality VMC, an air purifier significantly improves the indoor air quality in your environment.
Which air purifier to choose?
Filtration type
The majority of air purifiers claim a filtration efficiency of over 99%. To differentiate between models, your choice should be based on other criteria specific to your needs. Do you want the air purifier to play a preventive role against allergies, or simply provide better daily comfort with cleaner and healthier air? In that case, the type of filtration should be taken into account.
There are different levels of filtration in air purifiers. Most air purifiers have three levels of filtration (pre-filter, activated carbon filter, and HEPA filter). Some air purifiers may add additional options to further filter the pollution present in the air you breathe, such as a UV lamp, for example.
The Airò Breath 350, in addition to promising a filtration efficiency of 99.5%, features a fourth antibacterial filter, allowing for a deeper purification of the ambient air.
The surface area to be treated
Depending on the surface area of the room to be treated, the size of the air purifier should be adjusted accordingly. Indeed, a device that is too small or used in multiple rooms will be less effective and efficient. The portable air purifiers from France Ventilation can treat surfaces up to 50 m².
Useful options for daily use
Some air purifiers can be controlled and monitored remotely through a mobile application. This allows for adjusting settings such as speed, automatic mode, or timer without the need to be physically present.
Indicators provide visual feedback on filter changes, indoor air quality, humidity, ambient temperature, and more, allowing you to adjust the device accordingly.
Programming is also a very useful option, allowing you to schedule the operation of the air purifier even when you are not at home. By programming the device before returning home, you can enjoy clean and fresh air upon your arrival. The night mode is a significant feature, especially when using the purifier in a bedroom, as it operates with a reduced noise level.
Ventilation systems (VMC) and air purifiers make the perfect duo in combating indoor air pollution.
Aldes, a specialist in air treatment, has developed the InspirHome range. This range combines the performance of a double-flow ventilation system and an air purifier. It offers a centralized air purification solution that is compatible for both houses and apartments. This connected air purification solution filters up to 99% of bacteria, pollen, and fine particles. It can be directly connected to a smartphone, allowing you to monitor the indoor air quality at any time through an application.
To bring more comfort to your home, the InspirAir Home system provides cooling in summer and preheating in winter. Moreover, this mechanical ventilation system is Passivhaus certified, making it suitable for passive houses that require a double-flow ventilation system. It is also eligible for energy-saving incentives.
